We have all heard it said how important it is to create a good first impression. However, when it comes to offices and their entryways, making good first impressions involves a little more than general looks. Your reception area should be a mirror image of what your visitors can expect from your company. It should tell them, by example, about the experience they are going to come to know. When you look in the mirror, what do you want your company to reflect?

Modern Reception Area: Reflecting the Right Image for Your Brand

Because there are so many possible reflections a brand can have, no one reflection will work for all companies. Creating an image that reflects your brand properly often requires help. That’s why we have created a modern reception area aid with built-in flexibility.

Product Overview

The Baltimore Modern Reception Desk is poised to be the centerpiece of your modern office’s entryway. It offers a fresh approach to your visual expression.

The Baltimore is designed to be flexible in size and configuration. It can be styled as a single-height reception desk (42"H) in a U-shaped configuration. The starting size is 74"W x 30"D. The face and sides of the desk are recessed and outlined by an overhanging work surface and tapered side legs. The bottom face, edged together with tapered legs, is detailed with brushed aluminum. The entry-level material is HPL, which is upgradeable to specialty laminate, maple wood veneer, and/or one of our exotic veneers.

The work surface forms the interior workspace at 24"D, and is offered in HPL. The transaction top is 8"D and runs the perimeter of the desk. Transaction-top glass and LED undersurface lighting can be added as options.

Reception Desk Design Concepts as Shown

One of the Baltimore’s many versatile features is shown with a combination of maple wood veneer in two complimenting finishes: espresso on the legs and body, and greywood on the face. The many complexions of the Baltimore allow you to choose to be bold and vibrant, or more conservative and elegant.

This desk is shown with brushed aluminum appointments on the base, LED concealed lighting, and glass suspended above the transaction top with standoffs.
